Peshwa Acharya: A Decades-Long Journey of Building Brands and Driving Transformation
Peshwa Acharya has spent over three decades building iconic brands and driving transformation in various industries. He started his career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked on launching Ariel in India.
Acharya's subsequent roles at Reckitt and Dabur further strengthened his expertise in brand building, consumer insights, sales, and distribution. His work has been associated with household names such as Dettol, Mortein, Harpic, Babool, Promise, Meswak, Odonil, and Odomos.
Acharya's experience extends to the telecom sector through his association with Reliance Communications, where he played a significant role in building retail formats including Reliance Fresh, Reliance Mart, and Apple's iStore by Reliance Digital. His experience also took him beyond India as Group CMO of Globacom in Africa.
Acharya has also established himself as an entrepreneur, consultant, and mentor through Think As Consumer and GrowthShyft. He has worked with businesses and professionals on growth strategies, transformation, and leadership development. His entrepreneurial interests have extended into healthcare through Leven Health Care, including initiatives focused on developing dialysis centers across western India.
