PGHHL Confident on Long-Term Growth Amid Challenges
Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHHL) remains confident of delivering long-term growth despite challenges in its operating environment. The company is part of US-based multinational consumer goods corporation The Procter & Gamble Company. PGHHL reported revenue of Rs 4,290 crore in FY26 and a 19% increase in Profit After Tax (PAT) to Rs 857 crore.
The company's Managing Director Kumar Venkatasubramanian said that the year ahead might continue to be challenging but remains confident in its integrated growth strategy. This is backed by disciplined execution and continued investments in innovation, brand building, and go-to-market capabilities.
PGHHL noted that non-food inflation remains below the RBI's medium-term target of 4%. The company also observed a shift in consumption patterns with rural demand higher than urban consumption but showing signs of softening. PGHHL expects the FMCG sector to enter a phase of stabilisation and renewed optimism in 2026, driven by volumes rather than price hikes.
The company is leveraging digital platforms and trusted consumer voices to reach shoppers effectively, driving engagement and growth in segments such as Whisper Period Pants and Vicks Rubs and Cough Drops. PGHHL is also strengthening its capabilities across physical and digital retail channels to ensure its brands remain accessible.
