Pine Labs Taps Jayaram Karthik as New Chief Operations Officer

Pine Labs has announced the appointment of Jayaram Karthik as its new Chief Operations Officer. This move comes after over 25 years of experience in operations, risk, analytics, and technology for Karthik at various companies including American Express, Citibank, Amazon, Tata, and Razorpay.

Karthik's role will be to lead operations and merchant experiences across India and international markets. He will also focus on building technology-enabled operating models that deliver seamless customer experiences in various regions.

Pine Labs' CEO B Amrish Rau has stated that the future of fintech is not just about building products but also about how effectively companies bring together technology and operations to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
