Pixel 10a Price Hiked to $599 Amid Component Cost Increases
Google has quietly raised the price of its mid-range Pixel 10a smartphone. The new starting price is $599, up from $499. This change went into effect today at the Google Store and has also been reflected on Amazon and Best Buy.
The reason for the price hike is likely due to the increasing cost of components such as memory. In recent weeks, several other major tech companies have also raised their prices in response to rising component costs.
As a result of this change, the 128GB base Pixel 10a now starts at $599 and the 256GB model is priced at $699. The updated prices are already live on multiple retailers' websites.
