Pixel 11 Falls Short: Top Android Phones Leave it in the Dust
The latest Google Pixel 11 has been released, but it may not be the best choice for those who prioritize raw performance. While most people will find it sufficient, enthusiasts may be disappointed by its Tensor chip's relatively poor performance compared to other Android phones.
According to synthetic benchmarks, the Pixel 11 lags behind several high-end models from Samsung, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26. These phones boast significantly better single-core, multi-core, and GPU performance, with some showing a staggering 369% advantage in GPU performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra stands out as one of the top performers, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with a 3nm process. Its performance is 41% better in single-core, 83% better in multi-core, and 369% better in GPU compared to the Pixel 11.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra also has several other advantages over the Pixel 11, including a higher-resolution main camera, faster charging speeds, and improved AI features. However, it's worth noting that these benefits may not be significant enough to justify its higher price point of $1,299 compared to the Pixel 11's $899.
