Pixel 11 Pricing Hike Erases Storage Tier as Google Aims for Performance
Google's Pixel 11 lineup has been officially confirmed for August 12, and along with it comes some unexpected news about pricing. Every model in the series will see a price increase of around $100 compared to last year. The base Pixel 11 now starts at $899, up from $799.
The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the Pro XL begins at $1,199. The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold will cost a steep $1,899. This price hike is significant because it eliminates the 128GB storage tier, with all models now starting at 256GB.
Google's Tensor G6 chip, built on TSMC's 2nm N2 process node, promises better power efficiency and faster AI processing without increasing battery size or heat output. This change is expected to bring real performance improvements, making the Pixel 11 a more competitive option in the market.
