Pixel 11 Pro Review: Google's Most Complete Phone Yet?

The Google Pixel 11 Pro has been subject to premature outrage and criticism from tech enthusiasts before even being used. The phone's design is largely similar to its predecessor, with a flat, reassuringly thick body made of golden aluminum.

The addition of HiLight, a ring of LEDs on the back that lights up for notifications, glows when the AI assistant is listening or responding, and indicates incoming calls from favorite contacts. However, it feels like a clever idea waiting for more reasons to exist.

The 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED panel is beautiful, bright, and has high pixel density. It peaks at 3600 nits of brightness but can't sustain that figure for long. The display's reflections are still an issue due to the lack of a proper anti-reflective coating.

The phone's performance, despite having 12GB of RAM (down from 16GB in the previous model) and a slightly smaller battery, feels faster and more responsive than its predecessor. The Tensor G6 chip provides seamless app launching and smooth animations.

Google's AI-powered features, such as Gemini and Rambler on Gboard, are cleverly integrated into everyday tasks like tracking packages or composing messages. These moments of subtle AI assistance make the Pixel 11 Pro feel more like a well-oiled machine.
