The Pixel 11 Pro XL has been the author's daily driver for a month, and overall, they're satisfied with Google's work on this device. While there are some frustrations, like every phone the author tests, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is an improvement over its predecessors.

One of the standout features is the phone's build quality, which has been improved from previous years. The Obsidian model may not have much flair, but the all-matte texture feels great to hold and use. Additionally, the positioning of the camera bar means there's no wobble when using the phone on a table.

The phone's durability is also impressive, withstanding over a dozen tumbles in the month it was used without any major issues. However, there were some minor scratches on one edge of the screen after a notable instance where it skid face-down on a tiled floor.
