Pixel 11's Secret 'Pause Point' Feature Aims to Reduce Stress and Distractions
Google's Pixel 11 series was unveiled earlier this year, but one feature that didn't get much attention is called Pause Point. It's a Digital Wellbeing feature designed to help users reduce stress by introducing a brief delay before opening distracting apps.
Pause Point asks users to answer a question, take a deep breath, or revisit a soothing memory before entering the app they want to open. It currently has 5 options: Breathe, Remind, Divert, Plan, and Reflect. Users can toggle them all on or pick their favorites, with the phone cycling through them at random.
One of the more interesting features is Plan, which allows users to set a timer for the app they're trying to open. The phone will remind them as time runs out and can even close the app once the timer has ended.
