Pixel Buds Get Voice-Based Controls with Latest Update
Google has rolled out an update for its Pixel Buds earbuds that brings voice-based controls through Gemini. This means users can now change various settings, such as turning on or off active noise cancellation (ANC), adjusting the equalizer, and modifying touch control settings, by simply asking Gemini.
The update is available with version 1.0.981607934 of the Pixel Buds app, which has started rolling out through the Google Play Store. To access this feature, users must have the latest Pixel Buds app installed and be using the Gemini app for voice controls to work.
This update comes as part of a larger effort by Google to improve its Pixel Buds experience. The company has also announced plans for tighter integration between the earbuds and the Pixel Watch, including features like automatically pausing music when the user falls asleep.
