The Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 5 are two generations of smartwatches from Google. Deciding between them can be challenging, especially since they share many similarities.

The new Pixel Watch 5 has a faster processor, thanks to the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated chip, which makes it 20% faster than its predecessor. It also comes with double the storage capacity of the Pixel Watch 4, at 64GB compared to 32GB.

The Pixel Watch 5's GPS has been updated for more accurate route tracking, making it a better option for outdoor activities like running or cycling. Google claims its route-tracking capabilities outperform those of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Garmin Fenix 8 Pro.

However, if you're looking for a more affordable option, the Pixel Watch 4 might be the way to go. As new generations come out, prices tend to decrease, making last year's model a good value. Additionally, both watches have nearly the same battery life, with the Pixel Watch 5 offering slightly more capacity.
