Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Ceiling Collapse During Mid-Air Malfunction
A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 suffered a mid-air malfunction on September 15, forcing an emergency landing in Mashhad, Iran.
The incident occurred shortly after takeoff from Mashhad Nejad International Airport, bound for Kermanshah International Airport. According to reports, the plane experienced engine issues and lost a tire on its landing gear.
Dramatic footage captured the moment part of the ceiling collapsed onto passengers, leaving them screaming in panic. The internal structure of the aircraft was exposed, with debris falling onto passengers and in the aisle.
All passengers were safely evacuated after landing and transferred to another flight to continue their journey. There were no reported injuries, but the incident has raised concerns about air safety in Iran.
