Sydney-based hospitality entrepreneurs Dylan Eisenhut and Ben Pichon, co-founders of Pocket Pizza, have leveraged the American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card to drive growth in their business. The duo used the card to manage cash flow during the early days of Pocket Pizza, which initially struggled with a tiny 39-square-metre venue in Manly.

Despite receiving great reviews, Pocket Pizza barely made any money in its first three-and-a-half years. However, Eisenhut found that using the American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card helped alleviate cash flow stress as the company expanded. The card's payment terms allowed them to have up to 51 days to pay for big-ticket items.

The business partners also utilized the card's line of unsecured funding to purchase equipment during renovations and new openings, giving them flexible spending power when needed most. Additionally, they used Employee Cards at no additional fee, which helped reduce admin and pool Qantas Points for the company.
