PointState Capital LP Bets Big on Amazon with $339 Million Investment
PointState Capital LP, an institutional investor, has made a new investment in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), acquiring 1,423,550 shares of the e-commerce giant's stock during the second quarter.
The purchase was valued at approximately $339,289,000 and accounts for about 4.3% of PointState Capital LP's investment portfolio, making Amazon.com its third largest position.
This is not the only recent move by PointState Capital LP in the stock market; the company has also added to or reduced stakes in other large investors in AMZN during the second quarter.
