Poland has ordered 96 AH-64E Apache Guardians from Boeing, making it one of the largest fleets in the world after the US Army. To support this new acquisition, Poland and Boeing have signed two offset agreements to establish a service centre capable of maintaining at least 96 aircraft inside Poland.

The service centre will be built by Polish state defence companies WZL-1 and WCBKT, who bring decades of experience in aircraft maintenance and overhaul. The facility will provide organisational and intermediate-level inspections and repairs, as well as selected depot-level component repair.

According to Boeing, the largest Apache support infrastructure in Europe will enable Poland's sovereign defense capabilities and strengthen its position on the Eastern Flank. The Polish government sees this agreement as a key step towards developing its defence industry and acquiring technological expertise.
