Polymarket Taps Goldman Sachs Veteran for Institutional Growth Push

Polymarket has hired Lisa Mantil, a Goldman Sachs veteran of nearly three decades, to serve as its head of institutional growth. In this role, she will be responsible for expanding Polymarket's presence in the institutional market.

Mantil joins Polymarket from her position as global head of the ETF accelerator at Goldman Sachs, where she assisted clients in bringing new investment products to market. Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan welcomed Mantil's experience and relationships across the institutional world, stating that they made her the right person for this role.

Mantil herself expressed excitement about joining Polymarket, citing the opportunity to help shape an 'exploding asset class' at a critical point in its development. She has spent her career guiding institutions as they adopt new products and enter new markets, and she looks forward to bringing that expertise to Polymarket.

This hire is part of a series of senior additions at Polymarket following the launch of its U.S. exchange in May. The company recently named Warren Jenson as its first chief financial officer, who brings experience from roles at Amazon, Delta Air Lines, and Nielsen among others.
