Power Pages Sites Get Easier Governance with Self-Service Ownership Transfers

Microsoft has introduced Self-service site ownership transfer in Power Pages to simplify governance and management of websites. This feature enables eligible site owners and administrators to transfer ownership of a Power Pages site to another user within the same tenant, making it easier for organizations to adapt to changing business needs.

Power Pages sites are long-lived business assets that often continue serving customers, partners, employees, or citizens even after their original creators have moved on. This new feature helps ensure that ownership is aligned with current responsibilities and maintains operational continuity.

The self-service transfer process captures information about the transfer, including the previous owner, new owner, who initiated the transfer, and when it occurred. Relevant stakeholders are notified by email to maintain transparency and governance.
