PowerToys Adds Window Hopper Feature for Faster App Window Switching
Microsoft has updated its PowerToys toolset to include a new utility called Window Hopper. This feature allows users to switch between an app's windows more quickly, similar to the standard ALT + TAB Windows feature.
However, unlike the standard feature, Window Hopper only works for the currently focused app, making it easier to switch back and forth between its windows.
This is especially useful when juggling multiple browser windows, terminals, or editor instances. Users can configure the default activation keyboard shortcut to cycle through an app's windows without stepping through everything else on their desktop.
