PPC Lands Amazon Data Center Deal, Boosts Growth Prospects
Public Power Corporation S.A. (PPC) has made significant strides in its growth narrative, particularly in the area of data centers. The company signed a binding agreement with Amazon Web Services on September 18, 2026, to build an initial phase of a data center facility with a power capacity of 300 MW in Western Macedonia.
The project's first phase is estimated to cost around EUR 1.2 billion and target annual EBITDA of EUR 170 million by 2030 for the first two phases, excluding power purchase agreement earnings. PPC has also secured a 15-year lease with Amazon Web Services for the facility.
Goldman Sachs reiterated its 'Buy' rating on PPC stock after the announcement and estimated incremental value of EUR 1.30 per share for the initial phase and EUR 4.00 per share if the project reaches 1 GW, according to Finvaulta.
