Proficio Capital Partners LLC has acquired a new stake in International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) worth approximately $4,150,000. The fund purchased 14,758 shares of IBM's stock during the second quarter, according to its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

This is not the only institutional investor that has recently acquired a stake in IBM. BlackRock Inc., for example, bought a new stake valued at around $21,586,659,000 during the same period.

Other investors have also made significant moves in the past quarter. State Street Corp increased its position in IBM by 1% and Geode Capital Management LLC lifted its stake by 1.5%. Meanwhile, Bank of America Corp DE boosted its position by 7%, and Capital World Investors raised its stake by 29.2%.

These institutional investors collectively own around 58.96% of the company's stock.
