Proton Expands Easy Switch Tool for Business Email Migrations

Proton has expanded its Easy Switch for Business tool to allow organizations to migrate their email, contacts, and calendars from Microsoft 365 to Proton. The migration process is guided by six steps and allows employees to continue working without downtime.

The move requires a Proton admin with Microsoft 365 administrator access to initiate the transfer. This expansion of Easy Switch comes as European governments and businesses express growing concerns about their dependence on American technologies.

A recent survey by Proton found that 74% of European business leaders worry about a US 'kill switch' disrupting their operations. The term refers to a scenario where the US government could order American companies to suspend services to users outside the country.
