Public Pension Fund Pours Billions into Apple

The Public Employees Retirement System of Ohio has acquired a new position in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares, purchasing 5,851,269 stocks valued at approximately $1,693,123,000.

This acquisition represents about 5% of the system's portfolio and makes Apple its second-largest holding.

Other institutional investors have also increased their stakes in Apple, including Sterling Wealth Management Inc., Evansbrook LLC, JMG Financial Group Ltd., Advocate Investing Services LLC, and Interactive Financial Advisors Inc.
