Q2 Metals' Cisco Lithium Project Breaks Records with 2026 Drill Results
Q2 Metals' Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec has made record-breaking drill results in 2026, placing it among the top lithium reserves globally. The project's latest hole, CS26-093, extended the known mineralisation and fundamentally reshaped the scale conversation for Western Hemisphere lithium supply.
The April 2026 Resource Estimate confirmed Cisco as the fourth-largest hard-rock lithium deposit worldwide and the largest in the Western Hemisphere. With a total inferred resource of 295 million tonnes grading 1.36% Li₂O, the project's economic flexibility is significant due to its dominance of open-pit mining.
The drilling programme has consistently delivered wide, high-grade pegmatite intercepts across multiple field seasons, with CS26-093 reporting a 403-metre interval at 1.57% Li₂O and a 213-metre interval at 1.93% Li₂O. This highlights the project's potential for resource growth in future estimates.
