Qatar Airways Completes Starlink Rollout on Majority of Boeing 787 Fleet

Qatar Airways has launched its in-flight Wi-Fi service using Starlink on Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The airline began rolling out the service in October 2024, and it took nine months to complete installation on Boeing 777 aircraft.

The installation process also took eight months to finish on Airbus A350 aircraft and seven months for Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Qatar Airways aims to have Starlink's high-speed, low-latency connectivity installed across its entire Boeing 787 fleet by the end of this year.
