Qatar Airways has expanded its inflight Wi-Fi services by equipping its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet with Starlink connectivity. This upgrade brings the airline's total number of widebody aircraft with Starlink to 150, more than half of its Boeing 787 fleet offering the service.

The rollout will provide free high-speed internet on long-haul international flights, giving passengers access to speeds of up to 500 Mbps. With this connectivity, travelers can stay connected with family and friends, complete office work, or stream movies and videos during their journey.

Qatar Airways first introduced Starlink in October 2024 and has since added it to its Boeing 777, Airbus A350, and Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The airline plans to equip the remaining Boeing 787 aircraft by the end of 2026.
