Qatar Airways Hits 150 Widebody Aircraft with Starlink Connectivity

Qatar Airways has reached a significant milestone in its digital transformation by equipping 150 of its widebody aircraft with Starlink connectivity, including the latest addition of Boeing 787-9 planes. The carrier completed the installation across its Boeing 787-8 sub-fleet in just seven months, building on its rapid retrofits of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.

The Starlink-equipped Boeing 787-9 marks a major milestone for Qatar Airways, which aims to equip its full Boeing 787 fleet by the end of 2026. This achievement underscores the airline's commitment to providing seamless connectivity to its passengers.
