Qatar's sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), has entered into a $20 billion strategic investment partnership with JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s asset management arm.

The deal, which spans both public equities and private market credit, marks QIA's second large-scale collaboration with a major Wall Street financial institution this year. The fund's CEO, Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi, noted that the partnership enables QIA to tap into JPMorgan's global equity and private credit platforms.

The agreement encompasses two major investment programs: a $15 billion public equity mandate and a $5 billion private markets program focused on providing senior financing to U.S. middle-market companies in key sectors.
