Qualcomm Confirms Google Smart Glasses Coming Later This Year

At Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit, the company highlighted its partnership with Google, which has been going strong for over a decade. One of the key projects they're working on together is the development of smart glasses, which are set to launch later this year. Google partnered with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to bring these devices to market, and they'll be powered by Qualcomm's chips.

Qualcomm also discussed its collaboration with Samsung on smart glasses, as well as its work with Meta on AI devices, including two AI-powered glasses that will use Qualcomm's chips. The integration of Gemini Intelligence is transforming the user experience, starting with its inclusion on Wear OS in the Pixel Watch 5.
