Quorum Cyber to Acquire Ontinue, Creating Unrivaled Microsoft-First Agentic SOC

Quorum Cyber and Ontinue have announced their intent to merge in an effort to create an unrivaled Microsoft-first agentic SOC for the autonomous threat era. The combined company will bring together Quorum's expertise in managed detection and response, proactive risk reduction, incident response, professional services, and AI-powered security operations with Ontinue's Agentic Security Operations Center (SOC) platform.

The proposed transaction would unite two Microsoft-focused companies with complementary strengths to help organizations innovate with AI securely and defend at machine speed. The combined organization aims to move beyond point AI tools embedded in individual workflows to unlock the broader value of AI innovation, with intelligent agentic security systems that continuously perceive risk, reason across context, and defend at machine speed.

The acquisition would also extend Quorum's reach across North America, the UK, and the DACH region, strengthening support for customers operating across borders and navigating regional regulatory, compliance, and data-governance requirements. Eterna Growth Partners, a private investment firm, will be the majority investor of the combined company.
