QXO Taps Honeywell Executive Ken West as New President and COO
QXO has announced Ken West as its new president and chief operating officer, effective September 1, 2026. West comes from Honeywell Technologies, where he spent over two decades leading large industrial businesses through complex integrations, portfolio shifts, and M&A.
At Honeywell, West was instrumental in reshaping the Process Technology unit into a growth-focused business, including the spin-off of Solstice Advanced Materials and the acquisition of Sundyne. He also led the integration of Sundyne into Honeywell's automation and digital platforms.
QXO is pursuing an aggressive consolidation plan in the building products distribution space, aiming to reach $50 billion in annual revenue over the next several years. West will oversee QXO's day-to-day operations as it executes this strategy, which includes recent acquisitions of Kodiak Building Partners for $2.25 billion and TopBuild for $17 billion.
West holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He will report to chairman and CEO Brad Jacobs and take primary responsibility for executing QXO's operating plan across its businesses.
