Rangers Foundation and Chevron Invest $50,000 in Permian Basin Youth Groups

The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and Chevron have partnered to award $50,000 in grants to five youth organizations in the Permian Basin. The Chevron/Texas Rangers Community Grant Program has been distributing funds for three consecutive years.

This year's recipients are Midland Athletic Syndicate Inc., Balmorhea ISD, Firm Foundation Christian School in Fort Stockton, Permian Basin Public Telecommunications Inc. in Midland, and the Reeves County Recreation Center.

The grants will be used to support various initiatives such as constructing affordable batting cages for low-income households, purchasing a new livestock trailer for an FFA program, and installing new flooring and doors at a school.
