Wiz founder Assaf Rappaport has entered talks to acquire McDonald's Israel franchise, which includes approximately 230 locations across the country.

The estimated value of the franchise is between $200 million and $300 million, with annual sales of around 1.7 billion shekels ($470 million) and a profitability range of 8-10% of revenue.

Rappaport, one of Israel's wealthiest and most influential business figures, comes from a different business world compared to other bidders in the race.

He has built a broad investment portfolio since Wiz was sold to Google for $32 billion, including investments in startups in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as venture capital funds like Sequoia and Andreessen Horowitz.
