Razorpay Bolsters AI Capabilities with Top Tech Talent Hires
Fintech unicorn Razorpay has made significant strides in expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities by hiring four senior engineering leaders from top companies. The new hires are expected to strengthen the company's engineering leadership across AI, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and data engineering.
The four executives come from Divyam.ai, Microsoft, Salesforce, and CRED. Sudhir Reddy, former CTO and co-founder of Divyam.ai, will lead AI and data architecture at Razorpay. Abhishek Agarwal, formerly a Principal Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft, Bhavya Shivaprakash, previously a Senior Director at Salesforce, and Anuj Mathur, who was also a Senior Director at CRED, join the team.
Razorpay's new executives will work on AI initiatives across payments, banking, risk, data, and developer platforms. The company has already introduced several AI-powered financial products and services, including Agentic Payments, Agent Studio, Agentic Dashboard, and Onboarding, Connected Banking Agents, along with a suite of internal AI developer tools.
The appointments come after Praburam Rambadran joined Razorpay as Senior Vice President of Engineering in September 2025. The new hires are expected to contribute significantly to the company's AI strategy and help develop more innovative financial products and services.
