RBC Wealth Uses Salesforce AI to Boost Advisor Productivity

RBC Wealth is using Salesforce's agentic AI technology to free up time for advisors to focus on client meetings, said Dave Borrelli, Salesforce Canada Country Manager.

Wealth advisors typically spend one or two hours preparing for high-net-worth client meetings, searching internal systems and gathering information. With Agentforce technology, an advisor can generate a client briefing in minutes, saving time that would otherwise be spent searching for data.

The goal is not to replace the advisor but to give them more time to meet with clients and provide advice, said Borrelli. If an advisor can conduct two or three additional meetings, the productivity benefits can become significant across a larger wealth-management organization.

Salesforce's approach emphasizes starting with narrow, measurable AI applications rather than attempting sweeping transformations from the outset. Canadian organizations often delay projects due to concerns about perfect data, modernized systems, and AI expertise.
