Respected Finance Executive Tory Raether Passes Away at 55

Tory Jay Raether, a highly respected figure in finance and investment management, has passed away at the age of 55. Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he earned degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

With an incredibly successful career spanning various firms, Raether most recently served as a Private Advisor with Rockefeller Capital Management in Charlotte. However, his accomplishments were never what defined him; it was his kind heart, infectious laugh, and genuine interest in those around him that made him truly special.

Raether's love for his family knew no bounds. He cherished his wife, Jean, and his children, Seth, Grace, and Melanie, often prioritizing their happiness above all else. His adventurous spirit led to a passion for boating, skiing, golfing, traveling, watching movies, or cheering on the Raiders.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026, at River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones are invited to honor Raether's generous spirit by supporting his favorite organizations, including Caterpillar Ministries and Kiwanis Club of Lake Norman.
