Riyadh Air is rapidly expanding its global reach, launching new routes to key destinations. The airline's latest addition is a three-times-a-week service between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur, which began on July 30, 2026. This marks the carrier's first scheduled service into Southeast Asia.

The Kuala Lumpur route joins services to London and other new destinations, including Málaga in Spain and Dhaka in Bangladesh. Riyadh Air is backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, aiming to turn Riyadh into a global connecting hub with over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030.

CEO Tony Douglas stated that the addition of Kuala Lumpur and Malaga strengthens their network across key markets for business, tourism, and trade. The airline operates its flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, configured with four cabins from Business Elite to Economy.
