Riyadh Air Unveils First Indigo Livery Boeing 787-9
Riyadh Air has revealed its first production Boeing 787-9 in indigo livery, registered HZ-RXAK. The airline posted a series of photos on social media on October 4, 2026, tagging manufacturer Boeing as well.
The aircraft is one of eight Boeing 787-9s that Riyadh Air has received so far, all painted in the airline's alternative white, indigo, and lavender colors. The livery was unveiled at King Khaled International Airport (RUH) in June 2023.
Riyadh Air's brand identity is inspired by the warmth and hospitality of the Kingdom and the vibrant lavender colors that carpet the desert in the spring. The airline said its new livery 'pushes boundaries in aviation' and incorporates visual references to the Kingdom and the city, including sweeping curves of Arabic script.
