Rohde Explores the Art of Imagineering Behind 'Floating Mountains'

Disney Legend and former Imagineer Joe Rohde is sharing his insights on his new book 'Floating Mountains' at the Walt Disney Family Museum. On October 28, 2026, Rohde will give a special talk about his approach to Imagineering and how he turned ambitious concepts into physical environments.

Rohde's career with Walt Disney Imagineering spanned four decades, during which he led projects focused on natural history, culture, and the environment. His work includes Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World, Aulani in Hawaii, and Villages Nature Paris near Disneyland Paris.
