Rohde to Share Visionary Tales at Disney Family Museum Event
The Walt Disney Family Museum is hosting an event featuring Disney Legend and former Imagineer Joe Rohde. This comes after the release of his book, Floating Mountains: The Art of Imagining the Impossible. On October 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM, Rohde will share stories from his 40-year career with Walt Disney Imagineering in the museum's theater.
Rohde led projects centered around natural history, culture, and the environment during his time with Disney Imagineering. His notable works include Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii, and Villages Nature Paris near Disneyland Paris.
The event is priced at $50 for members, $70 for adults, $65 for seniors and students (with ID), and $60 for youths. Children under 5 can attend for free but registration is required. Tickets are available on the museum's website.
