Roslansky Exits Microsoft Amid Leadership Shake-Up at Copilot
Microsoft is undergoing leadership changes following the departure of Ryan Roslansky as executive vice president overseeing LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams. Roslansky has spent nearly 18 years in various roles at Microsoft, including six years as CEO of LinkedIn before stepping down in April 2026.
Roslansky will continue to serve as an adviser to CEO Satya Nadella until the end of the year, but plans to leave the company due to a reluctance to uproot his family from the San Francisco Bay Area and move to Redmond, Washington. In a statement on LinkedIn, Roslansky expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with the team and acknowledged the impact that users have had on the products.
As part of the leadership changes, two executives will report directly to Charles Lamanna, Copilot, Agents and Platform executive vice president, while another will report to Copilot EVP Jacob Andreou. The shake-up comes as Microsoft is executing rapidly against its vision for a new OS for work with Copilot.
