Mark Ruffalo's son Keen has made his Hollywood debut in Amazon Prime's new coming-of-age drama Sterling Point. The 25-year-old aspiring actor plays Connor Jacobson, one of the main characters in the series.

In an interview on the Today show, Keen revealed that he dropped out of college due to COVID-19 pandemic burnout and decided to pursue acting instead. He had been studying fashion design and felt a need for change after experiencing depression during the pandemic.

Keen's father Mark Ruffalo was supportive but also asked if his son was sure about this career path, given his limited experience. Keen went through approximately 100 auditions before landing the role in Sterling Point.

The series centers on Annie and Connor Jacobson, who discover they've inherited a remote island in Canada from their estranged grandfather. Keen's performance was notable for its improvisational nature, with the actor relying heavily on his instincts to create natural scenes.
