Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces attacked a Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region using drones on September 3. The strike is part of Russia's ongoing efforts to disrupt civilian life and damage the economy, according to Zelenskyy.

The facility, located in the settlement of Velyka Dymerka, is one of the largest soft drink production plants in Europe.

Zelenskyy noted that Russia was aware its strike targeted an American enterprise, implying a deliberate attempt to send a message to the United States.
