On September 3, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region using 'Shahed' and 'Geran-5' strike drones. The attacks targeted various locations in the area, including a Coca-Cola plant in the village of Velyka Dymerka, which was hit by a 'Shahed'-type drone.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the nation and emphasized that Russia deliberately targeted the American company to undermine civilian life and damage the economy. He stated that the destruction of one of Europe's largest soft drink production facilities was a clear signal from Russia to America.

The attack on the Coca-Cola plant caused a fire at the facility, while the Kyiv region as a whole suffered significant damage due to the drone attacks throughout the day. One person was killed and nine were injured, with six hospitalized as a result of the airstrikes.
