Russian Drones Strike Coca-Cola Plant Near Kyiv
Russian drones attacked and damaged a Coca-Cola plant located just east of Kyiv, Ukraine's capital city. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian drones struck the plant on Thursday.
Zelenskyy described the attack as 'a clear Russian signal to America.' He emphasized that Russia cannot be unaware that the Coca-Cola plant is an American facility.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the strike near Brovary, a town just east of Kyiv. Firefighting crews arrived at the scene and put out the fire.
The attack has raised concerns about the safety and security of foreign-owned facilities in Ukraine. The Coca-Cola Company confirmed that the plant is owned by an independent bottler, Coca-Cola HBC.
