Ryanair CEO Disputes Passenger Sucked Out of Broken Boeing Window

Ryanair's CEO has disputed claims that a passenger was partly sucked out of a broken Boeing window during a flight in July. Ljubisa Karovic suffered injuries to his neck, shoulder, and friction burns when the window shattered on a Ryanair plane flying from northern Greece to Germany.

The incident occurred on July 10 after debris from a broken fan blade damaged the fuselage and other parts of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Passengers intervened and used a metal box provided by flight attendants to block the missing window.

CEO Michael O'Leary acknowledged Karovic's injuries but disputed that he was partially out of the window, stating 'He wasn't partially out the window.'
