Ryanair Optimistic on Future Amid Boeing MAX 10 Delay
Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary expressed hope that the certification delay of Boeing's MAX 10 planes would be brief, estimating it to be a matter of days rather than weeks or months.
The US Federal Aviation Administration announced on Monday that it will hold off certifying the plane until a software issue is resolved, dealing another setback to Boeing's efforts to bring the largest version of its best-selling jet to market.
O'Leary stated that despite this latest hurdle, he remains optimistic about Ryanair's prospects and is pleased with the delivery of 29 Boeing aircraft over the summer.
