Ryanair Sees Seven Months of Consecutive Traffic Growth
Ryanair Holdings RYAAY reported its July traffic numbers, showing seven months of consecutive growth. The airline carried 22.2 million passengers in July, a 7% year-over-year increase and 1.1 million more than June. Load factor remained flat at 96%, with stable demand for the carrier's services.
The airline operated over 120,800 flights in July, an improvement from previous months. RYAAY has been expanding its capacity to meet strong passenger demand, with a total of 208.4 million passengers carried in fiscal 2026, up 4% year-over-year.
Ryanair's fleet-modernization initiatives are also contributing to its growth. The airline has retired older planes and taken delivery of new Boeing 737-8200s, which have improved fuel efficiency.
