Rydar Equities Boosts Stake in Johnson & Johnson Amid Earnings Surge

Rydar Equities Inc., a financial firm, has significantly increased its stake in Johnson & Johnson (JNJ). In the second quarter, they purchased an additional 7,222 shares of JNJ stock, raising their total holdings by 120%. Rydar Equities now owns approximately $3.36 million worth of JNJ stock, which represents about 1.9% of their overall portfolio.

This is not an isolated incident, as several other hedge funds have also made notable adjustments to their positions in JNJ. World Investment Advisors, for example, increased its holdings by 19.6% during the fourth quarter, while Benchmark Financial LLC and Principal Financial Group Inc. also boosted their stakes in the company.

Despite some analysts expressing concerns about the increasing competition from Chinese robotic-surgery platforms, Johnson & Johnson's latest earnings results exceeded expectations, with the company reporting $2.90 EPS for the quarter.
