Saint Francis Healthcare's Mobile Wellness Unit Brings Caring to the Community

Saint Francis Healthcare System brought its Mobile Wellness unit to the Saint Francis Clinic on Maple Valley Drive for a Day of Caring event on August 3. The goal was to provide screening mammograms and other free community resources to those in need.

The event offered a variety of essential items, including food, diapers, baby wipes, hygiene kits, and school supplies. These were given out while supplies lasted, with organizers stating that about 100 families were served during the event.

The Day of Caring was made possible through partnerships with several organizations, including Drury Southwest Inc.'s Foundation, Procter & Gamble's Cape Girardeau facility, the St. Louis Area Foodbank, and First State Community Bank.
