Deep Sky, a company involved in carbon removal technologies, has been included in Milkywire's portfolio of durable carbon removal purchases. This portfolio is supported by Salesforce and aims to remove over 3,600 tonnes of CO₂ from eight suppliers across seven countries using various technological approaches.
The inclusion of Deep Sky in this portfolio was highlighted in a recent LinkedIn post from the company. According to the post, participation in this portfolio helps translate global demand for high-quality carbon removal into tangible infrastructure. Deep Sky's vice president of strategic partnerships noted that this involvement will support the company's work at Thetford Mines in Québec.
The project combines direct air capture with permanent in-situ mineralization. This association with a Salesforce-backed procurement program may signal growing commercial validation and potential future revenue streams linked to carbon removal services for Deep Sky.
